We're now looking for a Product Manager to lead this team and drive our AI strategy. Being integrated into the existing Data & AI team gives you a strong foundation of Data Platform & Engineering expertise and assets you can rely on.
We're eager to implement AI solutions, and you will facilitate this either through direct delivery via your team or by leveraging concepts like the AI laboratory or Build-your-own-Agent. Success in this role requires a serving attitude and a belief in "sharing is caring", with an open-source mindset to achieve mutual goals.
Your future team
The Data & AI team democratizes data, analytics, AI, and automation for all Sandvik Coromant teams through self-services, data literacy, and data products. We deliver fit-for-purpose solutions, organized in a federated way to ensure predictability and high pace. Our team of experts in data, analytics, automation, and AI is driven by a strong engineering spirit and a commitment to teamwork, leading by example in technology and product-driven methodologies.
About your mission
In this position, you lead the AI Strategy in alignment with all domain stakeholders. You're the authority who facilitates the cross-domain prioritization focused on biggest value for Sandvik Coromant and set stakeholder expectations. You establish and leverage the AI CoE as a multiplier for AI in our organization, leveraging your expertise and our self-services while also delivering selected AI cases as products.
Your responsibilities include:
Taking ownership of the X-Domain AI Product Roadmap - including prioritization framework - as well as the AI Radar.
Oversee all AI initiatives within the company.
Co-responsible with the Product Manager for Data & Analytics, and Automation to align roadmaps and common stakeholders.
Embrace embedded AI across tech from other teams, e.g., Copilot for Teams.
Establish and adhere to an AI laboratory first approach as well as the AI key user community.
Align and move artifacts from the AI laboratory to the Product Engineering & Platform team.
Manage the full lifecycle of all certified AI products, including initial development, adoption and sunset.
The location for this position is Stockholm or Sandviken and we apply a hybrid work set-up, allowing you to combine office and remote work.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with several years' experience in engineering and technology roles. You have significant leadership experience, encompassing both stakeholder leadership and people management skills. In order to be successful in this position, you bring the following experience and skills:
Proven expertise with cloud computing service providers, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Proven expertise with Lakehouse service providers, preferably Databricks.
Hands-on background as Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Data Engineer or Analytics Product Manager.
Hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAGs), AI Agent Frameworks and Machine Learning (ML).
