Product Manager - Wibe-Group

We are now looking for a Product Manager that 's both strategic and operational. Your mission is to be the true owner of the product ranges and manage the product throughout it's full Life Cycle, follow sales, margins and quality and be reactive on Supply chain issues. You propose developments and improvements in the range by defining development projects and secure the voice of the customer and the business value. You interact and co-operate with related departments within Wibe-Group. You will be a part of our Product Management team and report to our Marketing Director.
Main tasks will be:
Marketing
Based on a deep market knowledge, co-define Cable Support Offer strategy in close co-operation with the marketing and business development managers. The strategy shall include product offer solutions, sales & margin objectives, market positioning, value propositions and competitive benchmarking.
Monitor the Sales, volume and margin evolutions in all concerned markets in close co-operation with the commercial leaders.
You are in charge of the new product development in collaboration with our country sales teams and secure relevant unique value propositions which provide a strong answer for our customers needs.
Monitor infringements and propose actions to block
Follow market trends (building & installation), regulations and standards which could affect the offer and our business
Manage the existing offer as portfolio owner during the complete product lifecycle. This includes tasks like monitor the FFR and act proactively to create improvements, Drive productivity action, Filter and Request product evolutions from countries, Propose obsolescence of products in the portfolio, etc.
Act as the specialist for support questions coming from Level 3 Technical Support.
Development projects
Define and propose profitable projects for the product range, both in terms of growth, profitability and maintenance in all projects: (1) Secure and collect relevant input from both customers and our sales teams, internal requirements; Work for finding innovations and added-value solutions compared to competition
Deploy the respective road-map in a good cooperation with Business Development, R&D and commercial leaders
Coordinate the use of technological development as strategic tools in achieving competitive advantages, and continuously work for future profitable growth for the product family range.
Education and Experience
Relevant University degree or long experience from a similar field
We value experience from related areas within new product development
It is an advantage if you are familiar to run development projects
Competitive advantage for people with knowledge about electrical installation, habits rules
Good marketing capabilities and analytical skill sets
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Need to have a high level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Other languages (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch) would be an advantage
As a Product Manager you will take responsibility for your actions and want to achieve your targets. You take ownership, you are result driven, business orientated and self-motivated. You have excellent interpersonal skills and want to build long-term relationships with different external and internal stakeholders. You're a good team player and wants to share your experience and knowledge with your group and colleagues. You have a good analytical ability, structured way of working and you are a good administrator.
