Job Summary:
PDU 4G and 5G RAN, is responsible for development, release and maintenance of the 4G and 5G RAN and associated products. The PDU 4G and 5G RAN's mission is to secure growth through effective product development, outstanding time to market for new products and features as well as technology leadership by first to market with 5G products. The PI and EM unit within the PDU 4G and 5G RAN located in Sweden (Kista and Linköping), Canada (Ottawa) and China (Beijing) will now strengthen the customer engagement to support the strategy to increase market share in 4G and be first with 5G.
We are now looking for Product Development Leaders that shall work with Product Introduction and Engagement Management, you will work in the development flow and be a key player in the interaction and cooperation between the development programs and the Customer. You will foster a creative and learning culture to always improve and innovate, you will work with a very experienced team of PIs and EMs and have the following responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Tasks
• Introduction of 4G & 5G RAN products in commercial customer networks.
• Project management of Continuous Deployment Programs securing quality in live network leading to product GA and securing roll out of the products.
• Project Management of First Feature Introduction pre-and post-GA
• Pro-active engagement and information flow between Customer Unit/Customer and the PDU
• Pre- and post-GA engagement activities to facilitate smooth product introduction and roll out
• Support to all Market Areas and CUs to successfully run 4G support and SW maintenance.
• Customer feedback to the PDU
• Chairman of Hot Meetings and Drive Taskforces on need basis
• Daily interface towards CU regarding consultations etc.
Position Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced leader, eager and capable. The many stakeholders require strong ability to handle relations and to balance a diplomatic approach while being assertive. In addition, we are looking for the following qualifications:
• Result oriented with a strong product development background
• Strong leadership skills in line with Ericsson core values and leadership framework
• Experience and track record as a Project Manager
• Interest and good understanding of the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working
• Very Good skills in communication and in handling relations
• Customer understanding is key for this position
• You have a genuine interest in people and excellent English skills in both writing and conversation
• Ability to work and cooperate across organizational boundaries
• Large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks.
• Find it stimulating to work with change management and teamwork/cooperation across the organizations.
• University level education
Please note that the position will be located in Stockholm Kista, Sweden but requires ability to travel.
