Product Development Welfare Sweden belongs to the Nordic Product Development Group consisting of appx. 200 members in Sweden, Finland, India, Norway and Poland.
We are now looking for Product Development Manager to join our team in Skellefteå.
With us you will be responsible for
Together with your colleagues and the Head of Product Development in Welfare to whom you will report to, you are responsible to guide and coach our development teams to accelerate the time to market and build a solid foundation to create high-quality products for our customers.
We are looking for a leader and coach to continue building on our Lean and Agile journey and taking our product development to the next level. We will try to find solutions in how we are working in close collaboration with other parts of Welfare.
The Welfare PD Leadership team is built up by leaders from all major sites including Norway, Sweden, Finland, India and Poland.
You will be leading a team with mixed backgrounds and competences that builds up our development teams. This includes e.g. SW developers, domain knowledgeable persons as well UI Designers.
Example of activities are:
• Managing and coaching the team, empowering them to take the next step in their profession
• Develop capabilities within the team
• Participate in team work from time to time to keep up your touch on technologies and ways of working (if times allows)
• Attracting new employees and building a network of sub-contractors to be able to fulfill the overall needs of the organization
• Building relationships inside the organization to enable a strong culture of cooperation
• Assuring we have the right people in the right places at the right time
• Build a culture where we take great pride in our work, quality and respect our colleagues
• Monitor and manage some of the projects we are responsible for
Your profile
We expect you to be a strong open-minded leader that have a good understanding of software development. Experience from the Welfare domain is of course an advantage but not a prerequisite.
You are the ideal candidate for this position if you have a strong drive combined with a proactive way of working. You are distinct in your leadership and are genuinely interested in your staff and the success of teams. You are easy to work with and being a team player is natural for you.
In addition, you act without prestige and contribute strongly to dialogue and an open climate. You use feedback frequently in your work and can create an inspiring working climate.
