hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Massproductions Europe AB i Stockholm Massproductions is looking for a Product Developer with a doer mindset and down-to-earth attitude to join our hard-working team of 20 colleagues developing, producing, marketing, and selling future furniture classics.
VALUE CREATION
Realising products for production and selling.
Maximise the return of investment by creating effective products for the costumer (quality, design, price) and a lean product for production and Operations.
Maximise the share of sellable products in the product portfolio.
Minimise costs due to the development of substandard products and lack of product documentation and requirements specifications (i.e., claims).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Industrial development of new product design as well as amendments to existing products, including the review of product related technical drawings, models, and prototypes.
Developing packaging, packaging specifications and packaging instructions.
Define and develop documentation, requirements -and quality specifications for production as well as all product related material such as assembly instructions.
Developing customized products and support the organisation with regards to orders involving customized products.
Be instrumental in ensuring that products are lean and ready for production and operational processing.
Be instrumental in providing external manufacturers as well as internal teams (Operations, Sales, Marketing) with the necessary support, information, and training in order to realise product according to specification/ start selling product.
Be on top of production understanding to secure best quality outcome of production.
Participate in the sourcing of new suppliers.
Participate in defining, refining, and improving the process of developing products and document routines for responsibilities.
Participate in reviewing the quality and performance of existing products and set up routines for post-launch reviews to ensure products meet required standards.
Investigate, document, and perform root-cause analyse of claims. Support
Operations with client facing claims and participate in developing claimed product process (client and manufacturing facing).
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Product Development or in a related field, preferably in furniture industry.
A degree in Industrial/Product Design, Product Development, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Proficiency in modelling, technical drawing, preferably in SolidWorks or similar drafting/modelling software.
Visualization and graphic skills preferably proficiency in Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
Good organizational and communication skills and strong attention to detail
Knowledge about materials and production processes
Fluency in English. Swedish and Polish would be a merit.
The position is based in our HQ at Hammarby Allé 51, Hammarby Sjöstad - Stockholm.
