hela Sverige SKF ID Process Development coordinates the central Industrial Division research and development for manufacturing processes whilst supporting new and existing factories in maintaining and increasing the process knowledge. Its role is to ensure SKF's and ID's technical leadership in manufacturing of rolling bearings and related products.
To strengthen our competence and capacity in the Process Support area, we are looking for a Process Specialist - ID Process Development Support Machine Control & Electronic Engineer
The SKF ID Process Development Support function has a responsibility for coordinating and supporting the development, standardization and implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment for use in SKF ID factories distributed worldwide.
The areas of Manufacturing and IT are developing into an integrated technology and the driver is higher demands to monitor, control, optimize and automate the entire manufacturing process. Manufacturing IT comprise many competence areas and we are looking for a person with high skills in automatization, NC, PLC, HMI, SCADA, sensors and electronics.
Key Tasks:
• Support the organization with theoretical and practical knowledge in different development projects and problem solving activities.
• Coordinate development and integrate new manufacturing process solutions into machines.
• Signal processing and signal analysis
• Debugging and verification of applications
• Drive standardization activities (Hardware, Software Diagnostics, Documentation, Operator interface)
• Training of system users
Requirements:
• An Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic engineer with good knowledge in the machine control, NC, CNC, PLC HMI, automatization, sensors, industrial ethernet and computers.
• Experience of grinding, honing, hard turning processes and CE requirements is an advantage.
• Good ability to speak and write in English language.
• Willingness to travel and to work abroad on short assignments.
• Team leading, facilitation and pedagogical skills.
• Self-driven personality.
• Good communicator.
