Your workday
The Business Project Manager works in a business context leading projects or programs contributing primarily with project management and leadership skills. You will work with project and program implementations, mainly driven by Process & IT functions, typically resulting in concrete changes in ways of working for a large employee population.
As a Process Manager you will work in a business context leading Business Administration Processes where your role is to develop and maintain the allocated process in order to reach the process targets and wanted characteristics on behalf of the Process Owners, line managers participating in Purchasing Management team.
Your core responsibilities are to define process strategy and roadmap on behalf of process owner and align with business strategies as well as develop process measurements, KPIs and measurement reports according to line managers directives in order to track the implementation and performance of the process.
Your main activities
Collect process performance data, analyze and propose corrective actions and improvements;
Drive process improvement based on targets, internal and external best practices and outcome of the measurements, audits and benchmark;
Define process Roles;
Lead process forums, process teams and process developers working with Process Management ;
Set requirements on IS/IT tools supporting the process and facilitate implementation of such tools;
Assure process implementation by providing process documentation, relevant training and support;
Contribute to the development of the company's defined common Process Management methods and tools;
Secure that the process is documented in Management System;
Responsible for nomenclature used in the process, including setting requirements on master data
Acting as pre-study leader and project manager for strategic Process & IT studies and projects
Lead change management activities to ensure successful deployment and rollout of new processes and IT solutions
Personal skills required
For this position you need following qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
At least 3 years' experience from a management position
Adequate knowledge and experience from Purchasing processes
Able to demonstrate successful international business experience within a global network
Broad generalist profile with cross-functional background
Good understanding of the commercial vehicle industry
Able to demonstrate a clear vision, global mindset and successful people & culture leadership
Show a real talent for global and cultural integration
Proficiency in the English language is required
High integrity and courage to decide
A business and customer orientation with a drive for results
Communicative and with good influencing skills, able to create trustful relations
Good knowledge about process methods and tools
Knowledge in IS-GDP methodology
You will be employed by Adecco and working as a consultant, placed at our client in Gothenburg. The commission is to start in October and is expected to last one year ahead.
