To standardize & harmonize Engineering processes used during development of Software & Hardware products, including & not limited to Requirements Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Quality Management, Verification & Validation.
Take total ownership of processes ensuring conformance to standards & norms relevant for Safety Critical Railway signaling systems specified by IRIS, CENELEC & other notified bodies. Align RCS processes with global BT processes considering Business specific needs.
Be able to diligently map existing process & improvise it further based on Industry best practices in consultation with the stakeholders. Act as the first point of contact with regards to issues relating to Engineering processes within the organization.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Own Engineering Processes & animate process stakeholder network. Standardize Process definitions for RCS, create process flow charts & customize as required by the organization.
Roll-out state of the art process within RCS & educate Engineering community through trainings and workshops. Guide on how to implement the process & support delegated process owners.
Align and work with experts in the Product development organization & BT process responsible to define process & execute improvement plan.
Ensure conformance to process with the help of ALM & PLM Business Application Owners with minimal deviation.
Be the first point of contact for Functional heads, Engineering Managers, Project managers & development team members on all issues relating to Engineering Processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in an engineering discipline.
Expert level knowledge in Engineering Processes, ALM, PLM & Process Design tools.
Structured mindset.
Contributes towards improvements in processes & flows.
Has basic commercial awareness, strong understanding of concepts and procedures in own discipline & sound knowledge in adjoining disciplines.
Able to take personal responsibility for managing process introduction into the market from am engineering perspective.
Able to present rollout strategy confidently to stakeholders and management.
Experienced in process harmonization with in depth understanding of technical and commercial constraints.
You demionstrate strong communication and diplomacy skills and the ability to guide, influence and convince others and communicate complex concepts
Willing to travel internationally for short periods (as per. Business needs)
Fluent in english.
