All about the role:
As software is playing an increasingly significant role in enabling digital consumer experiences, we are gearing up to become more agile, faster in responding to market demands and quicker in identifying new market opportunities. This involves elevating our appliances to digital, software-defined products in a seamless integration of modular electronics, software, and connectivity platform.
We're looking for a Principal Designer for Digital Products to join us on our journey.
What you'll do:
Responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and meaningful, digital branded user interfaces for Electrolux's next generation appliances. Shape the user experience of our future appliance UIs and connected ecosystem. This role is vital in shaping the user experience, while inspiring other designers to achieve their best work. You focus on design quality and foster a culture of design critique reassuring the objective of the challenge is to drive decision making.
In detail, you will:
• Deliver excellent data informed UX to our customers, along with iterative updates, that delivers on the holistic digital product vision via prioritized backlog items, hypothesis and user stories
• Design & prototype experiences from concept to implementation, considering hierarchies, accessibility, layout, navigation, localisation and scalability
• Ensure that the UX scales to a number of configurations of appliance UI
• Produce high and low-fidelity prototypes that communicate vision and intent effectively
• Collaborate with UX Research to prepare & conduct user testing to gather feedback on concepts using the insights to refine and enhance the user experience
Who you are:
• 8+ years of experience with end-to-end consumer product design
• Expert command of standard design and motion applications such as Figma, After Effects, Principle
• Extensive experience working with cross functional teams and design systems to implement designs effectively
• Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, user research and agile development methodologies
• You have a portfolio displaying a diverse range of product UX designs, motion, prototyping proficiency, and accomplishment of successful projects.
• Knowledge/familiarity with embedded software development technologies and limitations

Where you'll be:
This is a full-time position, based at our Global Headquarters in Stockholm/Stadshagen (Sweden).
You will be part of a dynamic international team where English is the natural language.
