The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is a joint department at Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg. The department has around 300 employees from over 30 countries. Our research covers a wide span, from theoretical foundations to applied systems' development. We provide high-quality education at Bachelor's, Master's, and graduate levels, offering over 120 courses each year. We have extensive national and international collaborations with academia, industry, and society.
Our aim is to actively improve our gender balance in both our department and division. We therefore strongly encourage applicants from historically-excluded groups to our positions, such as women and non-binary individuals. As an employee of Chalmers and CSE department, students are given the opportunity to contribute to our active work within the field of equality and diversity.

As a Postdoctoral Researcher your main responsibility is to lead research projects in collaboration with the project PIs and the members of the CryptoTeam. 80% of the working time should be devoted to research, the remaining 20% to teaching activites, such as co-supervise junior researchers (PhD/Masters level/Erasmus+) and contribute to teaching at a graduate level.
The research entails developing and finalizing scientific ideas, establishing research collaborations, communicating your results via scientific venues, including in journals and at conferences.
Qualifications
The candidate must hold a doctoral degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, or other related disciplines, awarded no more than three years prior to the application deadline (according to the current agreement with the Swedish Agency for Government Employers). The candidate should have a good track-record of publications.
Knowledge of Swedish is not a prerequisite for consideration.
• The date shown in your doctoral degree certificate is the date we use, as this is the date you have met all requirements for the doctoral degree. Exceptions from the 3-year limit can be made for longer periods resulting from parental leave, sick leave or military service.
