The School of Business and Economics consists of the subjects Business Administration, Business Informatics, Economics, Statistics, Law and Tourism. An innovative and interdisciplinary approach inspired by curiosity and utility is encouraged.
The department for Organization and Entrepreneurship seeks one Postdoctoral researcher in Business Administration or Tourism Studies.
Field of subject for the position
Business Administration or Tourism Studies with a focus on diversity and/or sustainability.
At the department for Organization and Entrepreneurship teaching and research is performed on all levels also in Tourism. All of the teaching areas have a profile on diversity and sustainability why it is important also to develop research with such a focus.

Extent and period
The position is for two years, 100%.
Context of position
The working tasks consist mainly of research within diversity and sustainability. You are expected to take active part in the department's work both internally and externally. You are expected to teach and tutor 20 % of on both undergraduate and graduate level.
Qualification requirements
Qualified for appointment is the one who holds a Swedish Doctor's Degree, or a foreign degree equivalent to a PhD, and has completed her/his degree no more than three years before the application deadline.
Applicants must not have previously been employed as a postdoctoral fellow for more than a year in the same or related subject area at Linnaeus University.
Good knowledge of English and/or Swedish is also required.
Assessment criteria
Documented experience of research in areas as above or related areas
The work is performed in a research group why teamwork is of great importance.
In its overall assessment of skills gives particular importance to an assessment of the applicant's potential for a successful career as a teacher and researcher.
