Linnaeus University is a modern, international university with Småland as its base and the world as its stage. We combine curiosity, creativity and utility with an entrepreneurial thinking in education and research. Seeing possibilities and believing in the future is part of what we do every day.

We now strengthen our prominent research by recruiting 21 postdoctoral fellows.

The Department of Design, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and the Department of Social Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences work together to form a research environment at the cross-section of design and gender studies.

Curious Design Change, Department of Design, and The Centre for Gender and Language, hosted by Gender Studies are two research platforms at Linnaeus University working in close collaboration. Curious Design Change is a new, local and international research platform, focusing on design as an agent of change for futures of sustainability, and is characterized by curiosity, creativity and transdisciplinary collaboration. The Centre for Gender and Language is an international research environment at Linnaeus University. It is interdisciplinary and faculty transcending, offering an innovative research environment for researchers with an interest in the complex relations and issues that exist between gender and language. The centre has a special interest in artistic research as an important part of contemporary and interdisciplinary studies.

These two research platforms are now announcing a postdoctoral position; open for scholars with a focus on design and transgender studies within the field of design, artistic research, gender studies and norm creativity.
