Let us describe the challenge we offer
As a part of our Internal Communications team, you will pro-actively help shape our internal communications platforms and content, working in a team of six, coordinating with local communications colleagues in the EMEA region to ensure all colleagues are in the know of the latest developments in our growing organization.
It will also be in your scope to be the support and first point of contact for a number of departments to support their visibility, alignment and collaboration with the wider business.
This position is a one year temporary assignment, covering a parental leave with a possibility for extension for the right match. In this position we invite you to work from our HQ office in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What you'll do
Just like each one of our internal communications professionals, you'll have your own project area where you, with the support of the IC team manager, drive the strategic development of our platforms: our internal news and engagement platform Parallax, our digital signage and our streaming platform, among others.
Further on you will:
• Help develop and produce content for news stories, campaigns, webinars and other educational initiatives, driving business understanding and engagement.
• Grow an informal network across the markets to surface stories and activity, driving alignment and ensuring transparency.
• Be the communications support for heads of departments to help them reach stakeholders and drive their business objectives.
• Collaborate with wider internal and external communications professionals to leverage synergies in activity and messaging.
• Our key audiences are our growing, global team of Polestars, senior management, and the Product Specialists who are the face of our brand in our global retail Spaces (showrooms).
Who you are
This role will require a creative, thorough and hands-on communicator who is organized, independent and extremely collaborative. We are looking for you with interest for digital platforms, business and innovation with a proven ability to explain complex matters in simple terms.
You are able to operate in a fast-paced environment where you can showcase both your creative side, your problem-solving and coordination skills. You are confident in working in a complex matrix structure with multiple stakeholders in diverse markets and enjoy networking with colleagues located around the world via digital channels.
To be successful we believe it's key to have:
• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in communications, journalism or digital media and writing.
• More than three years working experience in communications, with at least two years within a large multinational corporation. Experience could come from any industry; creativity will be the differentiator.
• Experience working with, and managing, various content management systems and preferably intranets.
• Strong oral, editing and written skills in English. Competence in other languages is desirable.
