We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide, and we are looking for a Physician or Nurse Executive to join an exciting project across Region Västra Götaland (VGR) for an integrated digital healthcare environment, replacing many existing IT systems in hospitals and primary care facilities for a comprehensive solution. The new system includes a service to manage the health of their 1.6 million citizens and a modern digital care system that allows for increased patient participation, safer patient experience, and improved work environment for healthcare professionals.
As a Physician or Nurse Executive you will be responsible for the longitudinal relationships with the client and will be expected to holistically impact the client physician performance through optimization activities and strategic initiatives. You will also be willing to learn the Cerner Millennium system, so you can give the best possible recommendations to the client.
Your role will need to cultivate and maintain clinical relationships both within the client base and the overall health care industry. These networks and your experience will aid you in the facilitation of clinical discussions around alignment and adoption of technology (leveraging analytics to promote), the benefits of clinical adoption and advise on best practices. You will also use your skillset to generate ideas for design and development of solutions and services accordingly.
You will support reference advocacy activities at client sites and also support the sales processes by providing solution demonstrations and answering request for proposal (RFP) questions.
Basic Qualifications:
*Medical or Nursing degree
• At least 3 years clinical practice or residency as a licensed physician or registered Nurse
• Completed 2 projects within the last 3 years using the Consulting Framework Methodology within Cerner Millennium
Preferred Qualifications:
*Doctorate in Medicine
• Masters in Nursing
Expectations:
*Ability to travel up to 100%
• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed allowed by local regulations
