The role is a part of our excellent/bold/passionate People team based in Stockholm. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing/ramping up our people processes and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

As a People Coordinator at Northvolt you will be a part of a passionate, skilled, and diverse team. We want to provide our new hires with a world-class onboarding experience and the People Coordinator will play a key role in making this happen. You will be hands-on to ensure success in the Northvolt employee lifecycle from an employee and company HR perspective. The People Coordinator is also expected to contribute to developing processes for our big scale-up and execute them.
About the team
The People Coordinator will work as a part of the group function, People Services team, with people who are engaging, fun, optimistic, and service minded. In the Operations group, we are four people at the moment in Stockholm and the plan is to continue growing and bringing together other People Coordinator across our locations. Together, we are doing magic!
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate on- and offboarding, creating great experiences for our employees
Answers employee requests from our People Shared Services platform
Build and maintain excellent and effective employee relations (including benefits administration)
Be part of building HR centralized processes from Northvolt AB to the Northvolt-group
Data input and HRIS and JIRA
Drive special People related projects e.g., policies, internships, and other high impact program
With a high-quality mindset and approach, you will be part of building an excellent and functional organization, playing a key role in supporting our managers and employees in all People related questions. With your passion and can-do attitude, you will contribute to establishing, developing, and maintaining Northvolt's People processes and policies. Come make history with us!
Full time employment, fixed salary.
Planned starting date is asap.
We believe that you have :
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related
Excellent hands-on doer who gets things executed and does not mind getting into the details
Service-minded is your middle name!
Previous proven experience of creating a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork
Excellent communications skills in written and verbal communication with fluency in English
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
Supportive and forthcoming, yet with a firm hand and thick skin
Shows grit and determination in finding the best solutions
As a person you are passionate, highly organized and result-driven
You are curious and eager to learn
You are proactive and deliver beyond expectations
You share our can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit!
Bonus points for:
Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
Experience from a multi-cultural environment
