As a Developer you will develop & maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, CES support, product documentation!
You will
A PDU BB SP Test Manager is a test strategy specialist that assures that the flow unit 'a feature ' goes through its life cycle ' CA- PD - maintenance' with the most efficient test coverage focusing on flow and quality of the unit and the product. The SP Test Manager assures that the legacy verification has efficient test coverage with an appropriate risk level. The role also includes educating the organization on test strategy and efficient testing.
The Test Manager shall actively drive the evolution of MSRBS Baseband testing within the product development phase. That includes testing on unit level up to node level. The Test Manager shall actively drive improvement within baseband testing giving improved product quality and development speed. The Test Manager shall actively give contribution in RBS systemization and design work with respect to testability and debug ability of the RBS product. The Test Manager shall act as a leader for the community of practice within baseband testing.
CA phase
Assure that the overall test analysis of the new features and the product in a release is performed and communicated to impacted teams within PIR and RAs
Assure that the detailed test analysis of the new features and the product in a release is performed and communicated to all impacted teams.
Assure that the accurate test coverage of the legacy features and product is analyzed and communicated to all impacted teams.
Participate in the pre-ITAC and ITAC
Responsible for the pre-OTAC and OTAC
Responsible to write and communicate the OTAR during pre-pre study and pre study
Support teams with prioritization assuring the best test coverage within constraints (time, cost, resources)
Support that test gets done in a way that simplifies Legacy Uplift
Quality assurance: assure that analysis of the customer TRs and major customers configurations is performed and that improvements are identified and correctly prioritized.
Driving updates of Test Strategy
Educating on Test Strategy
Driving deployment of Test Strategy
Reporting to RA programs
Role: assure efficient testing of a new features and product in a release on all test levels
This Includes: High level test strategy, automation, legacy test coverage on all test levels, test synergies, cost estimation, tools, HW and test environment impacts.
Identify impact of feature on PIR test cycles
Support RA HW/test environment forecast responsible at RA
PD phase
Support XFTs in test/verification related questions when needed.
DTAC (DTAR reviews, test scope review): Reviewer of the DTAR
Participate in approving closing of a feature (F4) and release
Participate in RA and PIR FST, support implementation of RA actions from FST findings
communicate The PDU 5G test strategy and collect feedback from RAs
Support evaluation of improvement proposal and update the test strategies

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
BSc level in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
Education: Master of Science or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Radio access technologies (5G, LTE, WCDMA/HSPA, GSM) testing and design, preferably within Baseband and Radio network design
You shall have documented background from testing of RBS baseband on different levels and be perceived as a leader within the area
You shall have broad knowledge about the Ericsson Multi Standard RBS product
You shall have broad knowledge about SW design and testing techniques within Ericsson and outside
Being able to move from detailed technical issues up to a strategic and organizational level, e.g. from assembler code to PowerPoint
Interest and good understanding of the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working
Excellent presentation and written skills
Excellent cooperation skills
Highly motivated
