About the role ES Group has a long history of springboarding other brands' ventures within heat pumps and is now looking to significantly grow its portfolio of market access partners. This role is the first of its kind at ES Group and will play a pivotal role in shaping our long-term growth strategy. You will build and nurture an international network of relationships and take full responsibility for partnerships from idea to execution. The role is supported by a RevOps team and members of executive management.
Why this role matters OEM and private label partnerships are a cornerstone of ES Group's future growth. These partnerships are enterprise-level, with long sales cycles and global impact. By joining at this stage, you will not only drive revenue growth but also help define how ES Group positions itself as an enabler in the industry. Success in this role will be measured by the establishment of new long-term OEM/private label partnerships, revenue growth from these collaborations, and the retention and expansion of global partner relationships.
Job Description The Partner Manager will establish ES Group's position in the industry, directly contributing to the long-term growth of the company. The ecosystem includes global manufacturers seeking portfolio expansion, new entrants in the heat pump industry, and adjacent players pivoting into the market. You will manage the entire partnership lifecycle - from identifying opportunities and negotiating agreements to onboarding and nurturing growth.
This role reports directly to the CEO and is currently an individual contributor role, with the potential to evolve into leadership responsibilities as the OEM and private label segment grows.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales pipeline: research, networking, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals
Represent ES Group at international industry events and partner meetings (20-30% travel)
Work strategically with leadership on market segmentation and prioritization, providing insights across the organization
Identify creative partnership opportunities that align ES Group's capabilities with partners' goals
Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely contribution to partnership dialogues
Collaborate closely with RevOps to secure support from marketing operations and partner success

A proven relationship builder with a strong track record of growing international B2B revenue

You have an interest in technical solutions, but are even more passionate about understanding the problems our partners and their customers face, using that insight to craft meaningful and impactful partnerships

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of international sales experience, preferably in complex B2B environments
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
Excellent communication skills with the ability to make complex information clear
Strong commercial acumen; understands deal economics and partnership structures
Skilled negotiator who builds durable, mutually beneficial agreements

Beneficial Skills & Experience
Proficiency in German, French, or Spanish
Experience as an entrepreneur or working in high-growth environments
Familiarity with research and pipeline automation tools
Insight into the current transformation of the energy market
Experience in launching new products or services with partners
Familiarity with heat pump technology or HVAC systems, or willingness to quickly learn technical product knowledge
Success in managing cross-cultural teams or partner relationships
Multi-market experience: understanding regional business practices, distribution channels, and partner ecosystems
Experience acting as a trusted advisor to C-level executives (internal or partner side)

Education & Licenses
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Valid driver's license

Location This is a hybrid role based in our Alingsås HQ, 40 minutes northeast of Gothenburg, with approximately 20-40% remote work and approximately 20% international travel.
