At Axis we constantly need to increase our capacity to support and improve the value of our products in the market. Axis Development Partners, our software partners, are a key in our ecosystem and their Video Management software always interacts with our cameras. As a Partner Engineer at Axis you will have a fundamental role in this relation and in our effort to further strengthen our relations to our key ADP’s.
In this position you will be the main support contact for a number of ADP’s where you participate in regular phone conferences and face to face meetings. You have the responsibility to make sure their issues are prioritized and threated properly. You will either solve the cases by your own or in close cooperation with R&D and Product Management.
Your responsibilities will also include:
• Create training material, such as presentations and workshops
• Train Application Development Partners on Axis technology, SDKs and APIs
• Contribute to the documentation of APIs and SDKs
• Responsible for validation of key ADP applications
The role involves around 15 days of travel a year.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Axis is looking for a talented problem solver with a strong drive and a service minded attitude. You have a structured way of solving and attacking tasks and issues, enjoy high pace and have an open attitude to customers, colleagues and new ideas.
We believe that the right candidate has a technical degree, preferably with some software development background. A minimum of 5 years of working experience, primarily working directly with customers, is a requirement and experience with embedded devices in network environments is a plus. Furthermore we think that you are knowledgeable in software development, specifically in C and .Net.
Apart from above we would like the successful candidate to have/be:
• Knowledge in Windows, Linux and connected scripting
• Excellent English skills, written and verbal
• Experience from creating training material is an advantage

ADP is one of five groups within System & Services. System & Services department is globally responsible for system solutions, the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for system functions and software, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings as well as project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters.
