The role

To be successful in this position you'll need to understand how our prospects think and apply state-of-the-art digital marketing strategies to reach them in the channels they spend their time on and make them aware of our offering. As a paid acquisition manager your main objective is not only to optimize our current customer acquisition channels but also to innovate and find new ways to scale our lead generation efforts. Our performance team is the main driver of new business to our pipeline and thus a vital part of keeping the entire company growing. In this position you'll be playing a key role in making sure our customer acquisition engine works like a charm and thus help Funnel to scale even faster. It is a technical role where you'll have the chance to work with the best tools in the market. We have a fairly good idea of what we need, but since the teams are still taking shape, you would be a key player forming the team and adding your own flavour to it.

The main tasks and responsibilities:

• Help us improve our performance marketing efforts and thus increasing the quantity and quality of leads (this is the fuel our company runs on)
• Measure and analyze data to understand the market and our prospects inner life better in order to create campaigns and messaging that resonates with them
• Continually test, optimize and further develop our performance marketing channels
• Work closely with other teams and our customers to explore new ways and channels to add to our customer acquisition mix

The team

You will be part of the growth and marketing team of five people and work closely with other teams both in Stockholm and Boston. Our marketing team is responsible for lead generation, customer marketing and optimization of the entire sales pipeline from lead to closed won customer. We're metrics driven and aim to measure everything we do in order to keep improving our performance on all fronts. We follow a dev inspired agile working method and work in small autonomous supercells.

What we are looking for

We're first and foremost looking for a digital marketing professional with an entrepreneurial and analytical mindset. We value the personal fit much more than the exact experience match. Some things that might describe you:

• High-performing working experience with digital marketing or/and analytics (we are looking for deep T-profiles, so we expect you to have a fairly good understanding of the digital marketing landscape and expertise in at least in one area within digital marketing)
• Great analytical skills and experience turning data into actionable insights and tasks (we love data and aim to let data steer our decision-making)
• Hands-on experience working in advertising platforms (GoogleAds, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe etc.)
• You are driven and take responsibility for execution and completion of your tasks and projects
• University degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, finance, engineering, business or similar
• Excellent verbal and communication skills in English (both our company and marketing language is English)

Bonus:

• Experience of copywriting and visual creation in ads
• Experience of working with tools such as Funnel's or BI tools
• Basic knowledge in programming (Python, R, etc.) is a plus but not required
• Fluent in other languages than English is a plus, Swedish is not required
