Introduction And Overview
It's an exciting time for Johnson & Johnson's Consumer site in Helsingborg, Sweden. There is a big focus on both New Product/New Business Opportunities as well as growth of Existing Products. In support of this growth, we need capable leaders who can support us on our journey, both now and into the site's promising future.

The position as Packaging Business Unit Manager will lead production personnel in the Packaging Business Unit, ensuring high levels of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while maximizing productivity, employee engagement, and financial returns.

Objectives of the Position
Understand and fulfil the requirements of J&J EHS&S Standards for areas of responsibility.
Ensure gaps (safety, quality, delivery and cost) are identified. Proactively drive actions to fulfil the requirements.
Identify and drive improvements while remaining in full compliance.
Prepare, lead and support during internal and external audit and inspections.
Be an engaged member of the site leadership team.
Effectively manage and resource human, material, capital resources to meet quality, customer service, financial, EH&S and product and process improvement targets
Monitor operational indicators and act to correct those situations which are not in line with established targets.
Identify, drive, and implement cost improvement projects (CIPs).
Lead/Support investigations that identify root causes and corrective/preventive actions.
Lead/Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Improve reliability of production processes by reducing variability.
Improve efficiency through simplification, waste reduction, and automation.
Support validations (IQ, OQ, PQ, CQ, and FQ) through staffing and document review.
Periodically review SOPs, EPLs and other GMP related standards.
Perform inspection rounds (EHS&S, GMP, 5S, etc.).
Pilot studies and projects initiated by continuous improvement work.
Deliver 5-Conversations to support the performance appraisal and development processes.
Ensure the adherence to all applicable laws and policies related with safety, and to protect both, own safety and colleagues who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and policies, both local & regional and required by J&J, related to Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety.


What You Will Need To Succeed
To be successful in this role you need to have a good understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, and the functions of the processes supporting the operation. Equally important is to understand partners' needs in this environment, including customer, transportation, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Quality, Compliance, and New Product Development teams.

You are a good communicator and enjoy developing engagement through multiple levels and functions of the organization. You are a great teammate and have exceptional collaboration skills. You can navigate yourself in a matrix organization and seek solutions in a complex environment.

Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred).
A minimum of 5 years leadership experience (required) in at least one of the following fields: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or New Product Development.
Good knowledge of regulatory and quality/compliance requirements (required)
Global supply-chain experience (merit).
Experience in Six Sigma and/or Lean methodologies (merit).
Experience in a Current Good Manufacturing Process (cGMP) environment (required).
Proficient in English language, verbal and written (required).
