Our Exciting Opportunity
Do you want to join the Ericsson's 5G Journey and develop innovative electronics, software, and models for the leading-edge mobile telecommunication systems?
Our department ASIC/FPGA Design in Kista Stockholm is responsible for Digital ASIC/FPGA development for all Erisson Radio and Baseband products with all standards including 5G. This is done in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders such as standardization teams and market leading vendors. We are working with state-of-the-art technologies, tools and methodologies from our vendors.
We are looking for an OPO (Operational Product Owner / Product development leader) that possesses senior experiences in ASIC area to join and lead our world class team. You will have an outstanding opportunity to work in a multi-culture team in multiple areas with our most experienced ASIC leaders and engineering teams. Product Owner will be part of a dynamic department where there will be opportunities for learning, trying out new roles and responsibilities and much more.
You will
Understand and communicate the customer value
Lead a team of 15 engineers to develop forefront ASICs based on deep knowledge in this area
Own and prioritize a backlog, supporting the team in breaking down the backlog items
Understand and align the business and technical prioritizations within the area.
Ensure that technical solutions fulfill requirements and secure long-term strategy
Secure plans and estimations related to the product area and backlog, and manage deviations.
Provide status and progress information for product area and backlog.
Own the IP Requirement Specification and the IP Roadmap
Identify, evaluate and drive continuous improvements
To be successful in the role you must have
At least 5 years working experience of ASIC systemization, design, verification area
Genuine interest on ASIC and telecom technology
Demonstrated leadership skills and proven track record
Strong will to personal improvement and to achieve great results for the organization
Customer oriented approach and focus on moving the technology further
Knowledge on how to structure your tasks and plan your work accordingly to the project's target
Energy to challenge yourself, solve problems and think in an unexpected way
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficient in English, speaking and writing
Additional requirements
Bachelor, Master degree on EE, embedded system, SOC, Computer Engineering or equivalent education is required
Successful leadership experiences in leading a team
Can-do attitude
