Acting as Ardian's operative partner, eNordic plays a pivotal role in driving the Nordic energy transition through a multibillion sustainable energy platform. Ardian's investment strategy focuses on consolidating opportunities across wind, biomass, hydro, and district heating, as well as traditional energy assets with potential for sustainable management. eNordic's current portfolio includes six wind power assets with a 500MW capacity and Nevel, which comprises over 40 district heating networks, industrial sites, and biogas plants. The role

As an Operational Analyst, you will manage operational and financial analysis for our current and upcoming renewable energy assets. Your key responsibilities include offering day-to-day analytical support to our operational team and collaborating with investment and financial teams to ensure consistency in valuation and budgeting processes. Your findings will play an important role in guiding decision-making across our portfolio companies. You will also support with M&A, project development and investment analysis in assessing new projects. This role will work closely with the Head of Operations but also report to the Head of the Investment Analysis team.

What you will do

Operative and financial analysis of our current energy assets, including assessing how changes in contracts, efforts to extend asset lifetimes, and hedging strategies affect them.
Supporting the operational team on a daily basis with analytical power and suggesting innovative and forward-thinking approaches.
Collaborating closely with the investment analysis and financial team to maintain consistency in valuation models and budgeting processes.
Communicating analysis results clearly and concisely to aid decision-making across all portfolio companies.
Supporting M&A, project development, and investment analysis efforts for new projects.

Who you are

University-level master's degree preferably Engineering/Technical/Financial or similar.
5+ years of relevant work experience, consulting positions in the intersection of technical and business consulting would be ideal.
Exposure to both renewable energy (especially onshore wind and/or solar) and investment/valuation calculations is considered an important advantage.
Skilled in Excel, Power point and other office tools
Well-versed in basic financial concepts and metrics; understanding financial statements and other financial information
Proficiency in project financing and budgeting skills is highly valued.
Fluency in English and Swedish spoken and written.

You have an analytical mindset, and you are naturally good at figuring things out and what makes things tick. As part of our team, you'll need to be able to keep yourself on track, being able to prioritize and can work under pressure from time to time. Being able to communicate your ideas clearly is super important, whether it's in writing or presenting them to others. Being great at teamwork is key - we're all about supporting each other, even if we're working remotely sometimes. We also really like people who think creatively, has an inherent curiosity and can adapt to new situations easily.
