Main Responsibilities:
• Support and ensure the fulfillment of technical responsibilities of product ranges produced in different manufacturing sites in a coordinated work
• Coordination of all development activities deployed in the different sites under his/her scope
• Deploy and align in all sites, OCP methods and procedures, tools and methodologies in the product development processes to ensure to follow the rules and best practices of the company.
• Rationalize the offer development team, in order to avoid inconsistencies or redundant works in different sites.
• Responsible for product development - Design, tooling and Test & validation teams to ensure the compliance of the offer during the development cycle.
• Build and develop technical leaders, designers, subject matter experts, compliance test leaders, application engineers, Industrial tool specialists to support the development activities.
• Responsible for compliance of test centers laboratory used for V&V activities.
• Report to the top management team / business reviews about the main remarks of the R&D activities, as well as, technological problems, road-blocks, etc.
• Forecast & control the budgets assigned to the department to execute strategy projects, activities & certification topics.
• BOC leader of the Cable Support, integrating all manufacturing sites of Cable support LoB to plan and execute PEP activities.
• Support in generating productivity QVE for the improvement in CSC of the product and improve margins.
• Arrange monthly meeting with MCO, Methods, MPL, Plant managers to ensure the execution of projects to meet TTM.
• Support in technical investigations on customer complaints with a root cause analysis.
• Manage IP portfolio - to track patents, renewals, trademarks, copyrights, are maintained for the cable support offer.
• Participate in national & international standardization committee for IEC/CENELAC working groups.
• Fix together with Offer Management, the strategy of Product Development, and establish a roadmap for 3 years, integrating and combining the resources of the sites.
• Fix together with CS VP, the general targets of the Product development area.
• Support planning resources based on the yearly budget, & manage cashout for general departmental expenses, & resources.
• Coordinate the use of external resources, balancing with the internal ones.
• Generate innovation from research activities within the scope of the offer.
Required educational background & professional experience:
Education
• Electromechanical Engineer
• Project Management
• Team management
• Industrial processes
Experience
• Experience in industrial field of at least 5 years
• R&D experience of at least 5 years as R&D Team Manager
• Related manufacturing technologies
• Industrial and Supply chain flow, know-how
IT skills:
• User of common tools, such MS-Office
• 3D + 2D design technologies
