Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania's "driving the shift" strategy. At Connected Systems (EC) we work with the enabling solutions with a span from the vehicle mounted telematics unit, via Telecom networks to the Scania service platform in the cloud.
Connectivity in general is all about Data. Data in large volumes in a flexible and usable way is a key success factor for organisations that want to survive the digital shift. Scania today have over 400000 (and counting) vehicles and other products connected online. The section ECP, Connected Systems Platform, is now looking for an Object Leader.
What you will do
Your main tasks will be to help development teams, often from different parts of the organization, to work together and find solutions for development of the connectivity- and IoT platform as well as it's systems and interfaces.
You are typically taking part in planning activities, work shops and systemizations. You coordinate and document findings, pace the work and present the result for management and projects.
Who you are
We are looking for a highly experienced Object Leader with good communication- and social skills. You like to see the bigger picture and you enjoy sharing your view with others. Agile development, the SAFe framework, continuous deployment and large scale integrations are to you well known and appreciated techniques.
You most likely have a formal degree in engineering physics, electrical engineering or computer science, or the equivalent experience. In addition you are expected to have experience from working with software development, either as a project leader/PO or as a developer. Knowledge of the areas of Cloud Computing / IoT/ Connectivity / Telecom and/or the electrical system of (heavy) vehicles is a great advantage for this role. You take responsibility for what you do and communicating in English and Swedish is easy for you.
