Do you want to be part of developing and leading us in to the next generation of AWD systems? We are currently looking for a NVH Development Engineer to the cross-functional NVH-team.
Role Description
The key responsibility of this role will be to lead and develop complete driveline architecture with regard to noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). You will be part of our NVH cross-functional team working in a global environment using state-of-the-art simulation and testing tools on everything from components to complete vehicle systems. The focus will be to follow and ensure NVH robustness of complete drivelines that are co-developed and/or integrated into new vehicles. You will help develop methods and NVH product development processes. Our largest projects require us to understand complete driveline NVH including driveshafts, RDU, PTU, propshafts and surrounding vehicle components like bushings, subframes and interfaces with the engine and gearbox.
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Minimum MSc in Engineering.
• A couple of years hands-on NVH testing and acoustic signal data acquisition experience.
• Good understanding of NVH analysis techniques as well as experience using NVH troubleshooting tools to identify problems and resolve issues.
• Solid understanding of NVH data based on either test or analytical predictions.
• Sound and vibration experience with rotating machinery is an advantage.
• Experience with NVH analysis tools such as LMS Test.Lab and HEAD Acoustics ArtemiS is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Good social skills, the ability to create effective networks and work in teams or independently.
• Results-driven with a structured mindset.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Finds working in a global environment stimulating.
• The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
