We are now looking to expand our operations team with a NPI Planner role, to support the ongoing work to establish and improve internal working procedures for continuous improvement.
The NPI Planner manages the overall supply chain scope, from demand forecasting to goods delivery for non-qualified appointed products. This includes making sure the capacity is there for ramp up, creating and sending out purchase orders to supplier and following up upon delivery schedules and making sure the goods are delivered out to the customer and to R&D as first committed. The NPI planner needs to have full control of what is started in production and what is in stock to be able to respond to changes demand both upsides and downsides.
Key responsibilities
• Purchase orders to cover the requests of appointed products
• Following up upon the total capacity per supplier and the given FPC capacity to secure the ramp up
• Supplier delivery schedule monitoring and updates needed upon changes
• Commit new incoming R&D requests and updates upon them
• Monitor and follow product and customer qualification stages
As NPI Planner you are in control of customer deliveries and will be a part of the product projects and be responsible for the supply part. You will manage all required shipping documents directions and secure good communication with external logistics partners, both for internal and external requests. The NPI planner will be a natural part of the product process and will be fully informed regarding the new product process and visit the different sites to fully understand the production. In addition to that, the NPI planner will update and deliver in line with set KPI:s and maintain accurate Master Data.
You report to Director Supply Chain Management and will be part of a growing team placed in different sites in Sweden. You will mainly work from our office in Malmö, but you must also be willing to travel to suppliers and to our other sites from time to time.
Your background and profile
To succeed in the position as NPI Planner we think that you have experience from manufacturing industry, preferably electronics or other high volume business. We think you have good experience of different kinds of supply chain setups. You have cost controlling experience relating to production and familiar to use your advanced statistical analyzing abilities. You have experience from ERP system, extra plus if you have experience from Microsoft Dynamics.
You are self-driven, analytical, structured and organized with attention to details. To work in an efficient and effective way and get things done is something that describes you. The role requires a collaborative and flexible style where the communication is a key to success.
