Due to maternity leave Bio-Rad is now seeking an HR professional to manage the human resources function for the Nordics, on a one year contract.
Reporting to the Eastern EMEA HR Manager the successful candidate will take charge of the day to day HR related task for a team of 65 located through out Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. Responsibilities will include:
• Operational HR support regarding local business initiatives and European strategies
• Recruitment for all positions across the Nordic business
• Provide assistance regarding employee relations to managers
• Maintain local legislation laws with union officials, government organisations
• Coordinate salary and compensation policies
• Deliver training, learning and development programs to staff
• Maintain compliance through audit of in house systems
• Constantly review policies to ensure they are up to date with regional and European standards
In order to be successful, candidates are expected to have:
• Minimum of 3 years experience within an HR Generalist position
• Experience of working with the different Nordic countries
• Knowledge of local laws and legislation
• Experience working within an international company
• Project management skills
• Experience and ability to work with different IT systems and HR tools
• Financial acumen
• Strong communication skills
• Fluency in Swedish and English
• Willingness and ability to work in an international matrix organisation
• Highly structured and organised business approach with strong delivery focus
