hela Sverige We are now looking for a Nordic Financial Analyst for EA Sweden reporting into the FP&A team.
International Publishing Organisation (IPO) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team supports EA's business in Europe, Asia, and Latin America across all product lines and channels. Key business partners to the group include Sales, Marketing and Operations teams. While the group is tasked with managing the traditional FP&A activities, the key objective is to maximize overall profitability of the business and provide decision making support to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
This Nordic Financial Analyst role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, supporting the Nordic Publishing Sales and Marketing team, and reports to the EU Growth Markets Finance Manager based in Geneva, Switzerland.
The primary responsibility of this position will be forecasting, analysis and reporting for the Nordic Region related revenue through margin, expenses (Opex) and headcount (HC) with emphasis on Business Partnership, Budget Control, Variance Analysis, and Decision Making Support
• Forecasting and Planning: Working with Nordic business teams to derive financial forecasts and annual plans. Includes liaising with Demand Planning functions for operational and financial revenue forecasts, understanding and planning of components of margin and working directly with budget holders to manage Opex and HC forecasts for Sales and Marketing activities.
• Accounting Close: Perform monthly close activities including working with accounting teams to book any required accruals, prepayments, or re-classifications.
• Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely completion of reporting deliverables to local Business Partners. Work directly with business partners to gather, understand and report key business metrics.
• Tracking Performance: Keep a regular pulse on the business as well as understand and communicate risks and opportunities.
• Analysis: Ongoing variance analysis of results vs. plan and forecasts for internal management and central FP&A teams. Other ad-hoc analysis as required to support management decision making.
• Business Partnership: Act as cross-functional liaison between Nordic business teams, IPO FP&A, and accounting, and be a strong influencer in improving processes and reporting.
Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Qualified or Part Qualified finance/accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in a divisional or corporate finance role (internal management reporting, forecasting, planning, analysis)
• Skilled user of financial database software applications
• Demonstrated high performance in prior roles
Skills & Capabilities:
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Expert knowledge of Excel
• Essbase & Powerpoint skills preferable
• Strong written and oral communication skills that enables clear and concise communication to all levels of management
• Fluent English speaker.
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy on work output
• Energetic and inquisitive quick learner
• Ability to work remotely and be confident in challenging the business
• Appreciation for data integrity, process definition and organisational alignment
• Highly motivated, self-starter; comfortable interacting with executives
