Cardif is seeking a .Net/SQL developer to manage the development, evolution, maintenance and support of our applications running on .Net platform and SQL databases.
You will assist our Analysts during the business requirements stages and assess their feasibility.
You will work with our Infra team on the definition and sizing of the infrastructure required.
You will take into account the company guidelines and norms and standards provided by Head Office.
You will work actively with the company Head Office to cope with security and effectiveness rules.
You will handle ongoing and remedial maintenance for existing applications
You are able to read other developer's code
Your main duties:
• Collect and perform a technical analysis of functional requirements
• Participate in defining and scoping functional requirements
• Analyze the opportunities and technological feasibility of the application
• Develop and write technical specifications from the functional specifications
• Prepare encryption and/or invoicing components
• Manage, monitor and coordinate projects
• Design a software architecture
• Analyze and develop components, using the appropriate languages
• Ensure applications are developed and implemented (prototypes and modules)
• Harmonize and industrialize all components and applications
• Ensure testing is completed and accepted
• Define protocols and scenarios for technical testing
• Test, identify and deal with any potential malfunctions in the software developed
• Analyze the results and write the test report
• Confirm that the project complies with the customer's request
• Ensure ongoing and/or remedial maintenance for existing applications:
• Intervene in ongoing and remedial monitoring and maintenance phases for the solutions implemented (tools, applications, specific developments, etc.)
Your technical background:
• NET development, including APIs and Web services
• SQL development
• T-SQL (stored procedures - business rules) development
• Crystal Report development (version XI)
• Sharepoint (developing layout, master pages etc.) (version 3)
• HTML, javascript etc.
Your essential qualifications:
• 5 years experience in development and maintenance in the Microsoft environment for both Intranet and Internet applications
• Strong Team interaction.
• Fluency in English written and verbal communication
• Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and effectively
