We're looking for a talented editor & colorist aficionado that will be a key part in creating amazing, fashion-forward content designed to boost our branded campaigns.
Your mission will be to strengthen iDeal's positive brand sentiment among its customers by editing and coloring motion material for our campaigns. You will be responsible for editing branded digital content across all social platforms and will be a strong creative partner to the creative team, collaborating and continually ideating through the entire process. As well as contribute to our continuously developing brand guide. In addition to this, you will be working on improving our design system throughout the lifecycle - from workflow and process automation to company-wide deployment.
About you
Besides creativity and efficiency, you possess an uncanny ability to prioritize your action points and have an analytical mindset. You set and maintain clearly defined measurable goals, and high-quality standards. You're an organized, disciplined, and talented video editor with a penchant for crafting evocative stories. Your reel reflects it. You possess both technical expertise and an aptitude for story development. You're innately curious and thrive on creativity and editing as well as coloring is your primary craft. You are meticulous, prestigeless and believe that hard work is the key to success. Besides this you are an excellent communicator and a team player.
Responsibilities
• Experiment with different versions of an edit, exploring multiple directions if needed
• Collaborate with Brand Motion Director on creative concepts, direction and alignment on projects
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Coordinate post production for many different projects
• Edit and deliver videos for a wide range of formats
• Keep the department up to date on the latest plug-ins and software solutions
• Collaborate well with other editors, helping to evolve and discover best practices
• Pull editing reference for post and creative inspiration
• Keep server and projects organized through completion
• Experiment with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements
• Stay on top of the competitive landscape and relevant benchmarks
• Maintain brand cohesion through all design creation
• Coordinate with the design team and other relevant teams
All Design Team members work closely with all departments at iDeal of Sweden and assists with projects and tasks when needed. Teamwork makes the dreamwork.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in film production or equivalent work experience resulting in broad knowledge of a field related to the job, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Significant experience working in social or digital video production
• Significant experience creating video content (portfolio/showreel is a must)
• Thorough knowledge of color correction
• 1 year of work experience in relevant field is a plus, preferably in the fashion- and lifestyle industry
• Excellent communicator and a team player
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Master of Adobe CC Suite - After Effects and Premiere Pro in particular
• Experience in 3D Design (Cinema 4D) is a plus
• A background in marketing and/or creating commercial campaigns is a plus
• Fluency in English
