Job Description
You are part of Lindex Global Sales organisation and working in the Sales Performance department. This department is responsible for maximising the global sales, defining KPI's and profitability in all Lindex sales channels, by a digital first mindset. The department optimizes the customer offer and develop, implement and execute on the sales plan.
As Merchandising Manager, you lead a team of Merchandisers and Digital Merchandisers. You are responsible for maximized sales and profitability within all assortment groups for markets and channels. You plan, implement and follow up the sale strategy and ongoing sale actions, in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders. From an overall business perspective, you analyze and act on sales. You also conduct competitive analysis and present conclusions on insights as well as develop and implement merchandising concepts.
Are you the one we are looking for?
• Academic degree within Economics or similar
• Work experience within assortment merchandising, in a leading position
• Experience from working in sales and retail in an omni-channel organisation in an international environment
• Experience from working in excel, BI- and ERP systems
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Meritorious: knowledge in Google Analytics
To succeed in this position a business analytic mindset is essential for driving this area further. You are used to work with data as the main driver of the priorities and actions taken in your role. We believe in the team's capacity of taking own initiatives and decision, and therefore we search for a person who can collaborate well with others (stakeholders/departments etc. You have strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire others. We also see that you have strong communication skills and that you are able to manage your time to meet set deadlines. You are comfortable in an ever-changing environment, that offers a lot of exciting challenges and you look forward to further develop your passion for retail!
