Your role
We are looking for a mechanical engineer who can strengthen the section in areas such as
propulsion, diesel and energy systems.
Your role will be to be responsible for the system throughout the product development process. You will work with system requirements and specifications and develop system solutions. You are responsible for the technical part of procurement of subcontractor systems and subcontractors. At the end of the project the focus is on verifying and deploying the system. Part of the work is internal and external presentations of the systems. The work is conducted in smaller teams with engaged and competent colleagues who look forward to welcome you in our community and into the technology.
Your profile
We seek you who are outgoing with a good ability and willingness to collaborate with others and have the ability to build long lasting relationships and networks. You are prestigeless with a good ability to take own initiatives and independently structure and drive your work. It 's a great merit if you have experience in development of larger systems incorporating components of various kinds.
Appropriate background is an engineer in machine, energy, marine engineer or equivalent.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
What you will be a part of
At the department Mechanical Systems, Energy Conversion, we obtain and develop mechanical systems for submarines. The biggest challenge for us is the new development of the submarine A26, but we also work with other products such as further development and maintenance of existing submarines as well as research projects. We have many contact areas and cooperate with other internal subsystems and disciplines as well as with international subcontractors.
