PureBallast - a system developed by Alfa Laval and Wallenius Water, prevents the spread of invasive organisms between the oceans. We have a market leading position since the launch in 2006, and we sell systems to ship owners and shipyards worldwide. In the coming years the business in this global market will grow rapidly. We will extend our team in Tumba with a Marketing Project Manager. So, what are you going to do today?
Who you are
Who are youYou have proven marketing competence paired with good understanding of technical sales. You know how to conventionalize a portfolio or offering and can identify communication topics based on what is important to educate the market about, what customers seek to know and what competitors communicate. You are curious by nature and used to close cooperation with sales colleagues and Marketing Communications teams. Perhaps you are a product manager or a copywriter today?
About the jobYou will be part of the Business Development and Marketing team, and will work closely with other departments in Alfa Laval, to develop a continuous flow of relevant topics. Your daily work will include a wide stretch of tasks:
Based on investigations you will suggest topics suitable for external communication towards our customer segments
Collaborate with the Marketing Communication team to create content based on defined topics, keywords and trends
Drive the content review process within the PureBallast team
Use Analytics reports and IP tracking for customer insight
Follow up local communication implementation and discuss with sales if/how to improve the same

What you know
You probably have a degree but within which area is not as important as your skill set
Experience in strategic marketing such as positioning and differentiating offerings based on defined target segment
Investigation and research are natural parts of your day
Skilled in project management
Experience in B2B sales is a must and if from technical sales a clear plus
Structured with attention to details when needed
Great skills in English both in speaking and in writing

The PureBallast product is marketed and sold entirely by Alfa Laval and you will act within the global Alfa Laval organization, with international contacts, both internally and externally.
You will be located at the office in Tumba and employed by AlfaWall AB a company owned by Alfa Laval and Wallenius.
