As a Marketing Manager you will have the overall strategic and commercial responsibility to build the long-term value of Marshall (in all three product categories) & Molami brands. You ensure that the work is done in line with brand vision and deliver on defined brand and business objectives. It's essential that you establish a Brand Management with a true holistic approach - ensuring that communication, product development, pricing and distribution are aligned with overall strategic direction for the brands and drive business impact.
You and your team, see to synergies across product categories and secure a holistic brand experience in all interaction points. That will lead to effectively positioning of the brands in the minds of the target audience and drives brand preference.
The team that you are responsible for consist of 2 people (Marketing Comm Manager and PR Manager) and you report to the Global Brand & Marketing Director.
Main responsibilities and activities
Brand strategy and guidelines
Brand strategy implementation. Fostering speed and responsiveness in the organisation through clarity of brand strategy.
Lead the annual brand & business planning processes ensuring clear strategic direction and efficient global brand building across all product categories.
Continue to build good relations with Marshall Amplification in UK.
Ensure efficient product portfolio management & product lifecycle management.
Accountable for global brand P/L and marketing budget. Monitor business performance and ensure development in line with defined brand & business objectives & KPI's.
Keep track of brand health, overall consumer & category trends and competitor activity as well as ensure key market insights. Define consumer insights and market research needs.
Product development and assortment strategy and define long-term innovation roadmap together with key stakeholders.
Define global price strategy & price position and promotion guidelines.
Global communication and media strategy.
Develop distribution/channel strategy for each brand together with Retail, Sales and E-commerce to ensure that we tailor and optimize our brand experience based on the consumer journey and buying behavior of the key target groups.
Brand protection (in cooperation with Zound Legal).
Assess agencies, recommend partners and negotiate agreements
Be able to represent the brand in relation to media.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role at Zound Industries we think you are a senior, high performance professional with extensive knowledge in consumer marketing. Your experience includes brand management, P/L responsibility, product innovation and leading a team. You can show a track record in successfully building international brands. If you have combined experience from a large established global company with experience from a start-up it is a big plus.
Preferred areas of knowledge will be consumer electronics, retail or FMCG. Life-style brands as well. We will also see that you have a Bachelor or Master degree in business/marketing.
