Your role
As Manager for System Safety and ILS within Engineering, your main tasks will be to manage competence development and resources within Systems Safety, reliability, maintainability for our development projects.
Process management, methods and tools for System Safety and ILS including adaptations for projects as well as to drive improvements, e.g. way-of-working and cost effectiveness will be within your responsibility. You will have close collaboration with the Manager for Systems Engineering among others.
It is expected that you get involved in the business and help our projects to succeed. This will be done by e.g. matching the right profile and competence to the project needs, be part of quotes, meeting the customer, supporting the project in process tailoring, coach and support the project members within your domain and improving ways of working. You will have a close collaboration with other Engineering Managers, Product Managers and Project Managers among others.
The group consists of 10 employees with different areas of expertise within the ILS and System Safety domain. The group members spend most of their time working in our projects and you as the line manager have an important part in giving the group a sense of belonging, spreading experience and coach the employees.
You will report to the Head of Safety Critical Engineering and be a member of the Safety Critical Engineering Management Team.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
