The Position
As Manager Solution Implementation you will manage the team responsible for technical packaging and implementation of functionality towards our customers. The team works in close collaboration with all our internal development teams as well as the service owners at the business areas within the Volvo Group.
The team manages release, configuration, technical writing and training. You will get the opportunity to work with a group of competent and engaged team members with a positive and supportive team culture.
Your role will be to coach the team members in their different roles and lead continuous development of both ways of working and competences. You will be responsible for the development of a global function for Solution Implementation in VGCS and ensure collaboration and alignment cross sites.
To succeed in this role collaboration is key.
The Solution Implementation team manages the full release process which is a critical and technically complex function. The team also possesses valuable knowledge about our end user solutions and provide support and training both internally in VGCS and for our customers.
To lead the Solution Implementation team it will be important to have a technical understanding of system architecture and a genuine technical interest. It is an advantage if you have experience from leading roles in the area of software development with micro services.
