hela Sverige We are looking for an engaged leader to lead and develop our team of Project Managers and Prototype Buyers within Volvo Penta Global Purchasing. In this challenge you will have a great opportunity to influence the project work at Volvo Penta and the development of the next generation Volvo Penta offers.
This position reports to the Vice President Purchasing and will be part of the Purchasing Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a team of 9 Project Managers and Prototype buyers.
• Represent Purchasing in cross-functional Project forum and create possibilities to deliver Purchasing project activities according to plan.
• Lead Purchasing Project Pulse meetings and secure Project gate fulfillment from Purchasing.
• Actively support the development of purchasing processes related to Purchasing Project Management and Prototype Purchasing and strives for continuous improvements.

Competence Profile
• To have good pre requisites for this role, we believe you have experience from:
• Project management. You know the project management processes and different project management knowledge areas
• Team Management. You have experience from leading teams
• Collaboration and networking. You have excellent relationship and interpersonal skills and realize the importance of building relationships between different parts of the organization.
• Product development, supply chain management and sourcing is an advantage.
• We expect you to have a University degree as the basis for your career. You are fluent in spoken and written English.
