ALD is now looking for a new role as Manager Programs and Projects who will have an important role and impact on the exciting journey to become a fully integrated sustainable mobility provider and the global leader in the industry.
The role
The role 's focus will be to drive various programs and projects to make ALD the leading provider of sustainable mobility solutions.
Programs and projects include for example develop and launch new mobility offers, improve existing mobility offers, improve internal efficiency, replacing or enhancing back-office systems or compliance orientated projects.
You will work closely with the senior and middle management team to build this new department and executing the strategic roadmap. In this role you will set the structure and ways of working with programs and projects and be in charge of the implementation. You will manage the team of project managers and in certain projects be a hands-on project manager yourself.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
• Together with the Strategic Leadership Team (SLT) create the program calendar and monitor the progress
• Present programs and projects to the SLT in a well-documented manner, as well as their status
• Managerial responsibility for the project leaders
• Manage projects and handle handovers of projects to managers in the organisation
• Put together project teams for approved projects
• Handle and document project management workflows (spreadsheets, templates, diagrams process maps etc.), providing team members with key deliverables and actions
• Source and develop the relationships with various external agencies and sub-consultants hired in the projects
• Act customer centric and ensure that all team members do the same
• Act as an internal advisor towards all staff involved in projects and steer, lead, coach and follow up on the progress
• Secure that skills, knowledge, and processes are in place within the project teams in order to perform with high accuracy and quality
• Ensure that projects are implemented within budget, timeline, and legislation
Professional qualifications and personal characteristics for the role
• University degree
• Minimum five years of experience of strategic program management, preferable from a matrix organisation
• Minimum of two years of managerial leadership experience
• Experience from an international organisation
• Digital maturity and experience from various back-office and IT-systems and preferable also project management systems
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Self-motivated
• Structured and organised
• Understanding strategies and at the same detail orientated. Always with the focus on delivery
• Able to handle a high paced environment and role
• Flexible mind-set and open to change
• Team orientated and socially skilled
• Strong communicator
• Natural leader in change management
