JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Communications team delivers various media (for online and offline channels) such as videos, animations, collaterals, infographics, newsletters, web banners, technical illustrations and more. Our role is to maintain brand consistency and provide efficient communication to different target groups. We also organize conferences, tradeshows and customer visits.
This is a new role for an experienced and creative Manager who likes working in a close and varied teams (creative, marketers and sales), and is confident in making recommendations.
As Manager for the Marcom Projects unit, you have the overall responsibility for the operational work and team. The role requires strong leadership skills since you will be steering the internal delivery team which could involve creatives, content providers and specialists within digital functions. You use strategic elements of branding and marketing strategy in order to ensure consistency of message delivery throughout the organization - the same "look & feel".
You will work close with corporate and regional marketers and decision-makers at different levels, preparing concepts that drive attention and engagement.
The responsibilities of the unit include:
Ensure that we deliver customer-centric value, challenge the status quo and secure it's on brand.
Overseer of content deliverables; making sure marketing material is in perfect shape and following Axis tone of voice and visual expression.
Lead the cross-functional work and collaboration with other departments, as well as internal stakeholders.
Managing the Marcom Project team (personnel and budget).
Be the day-to-day sounding board and first point of escalation for project-, process- and task related queries.
Project manage different communication and improvements project.
Set strategies and tactical plans for some of the key deliverables and drive the implementation of project-based process.
In the initial phase of your employment, you will take an "acting" role as project manager for some of the projects that are assigned to the team. This includes the following tasks;
Overall planning, management and completion of projects with a clear digital and communication plan.
Putting together and leading the internal delivery team.
Securing quality throughout the delivery - from strategic anchoring, project planning to administrative routines.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate is expected to be a high-energy, creative and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates strong leadership skills and instincts. We are looking for someone with a track record of comms strategies resulting in inspiring and engaging campaigns, activities and compelling media moments which have driven outstanding reach and engagement for us.
You are comfortable leading a team of creative people working to produce sales and brand-building activities. Essential to this role is the ability to craft strategic communications proposals based on your insights and the ability to inspire others with the presentation of these ideas.
We believe you have a university degree or equivalent in marketing and/or communications or related field and marketing experience in corporate and/or agency team management positions. You have worked as a team leader or a manager in your previous positions and have experience from working in an international organization.
Advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Office.? Good English and Swedish skills are essential.
