The job:
We are hiring a Manager for the Order Management department, where you will lead the team of six people and manage approximately 100 000 orders per year and shipments to 100 different countries.
Order Management is IDD Uppsala's front-office and first point of contact for customer orders worldwide - from commercial operations to individual customers. We are putting our Customer first by fulfilling customer expectations in regards to order lead time and order handling as well as keeping clear and pro-active communication on future deliveries.
How will you make an impact?
In the role as Manager for Order Management you will have leadership responsibilities for the business and the team but also an operational responsibility within the team serving our customers.
• Setting goals aligned with Logistics objectives and define and establish critical metrics to be used to visualize and follow the overall performance
• Lead and control the overall work to meet business plans
• Ensure continuous improvements according to prioritization within Supply Chain
• Enable cross-functional teamwork within Logistics, Supply Chain and other functions within the organization
• Ensure that the business is conducted according to IDD business systems, ISO, QSR and other regulatory requirements as well as global trade compliance.
• Set clear roles and responsibilities in your team
How will you get there?
The role will suit you who like the variation of working independently in close contact with the market companies as well as in different projects and to collaborate with colleagues and customers. You are self-motivated, have a higher level of flexibility and a strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done. You provide clear communication and are proactive in the way you work.
• You have a Bachelor or master's degree in industrial economics or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in supply chain in preferably pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• You have a strong result focus and a developed analytical skill
• You have proven skills of cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
• You can easily communicate in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
