Overall description of the job
The Product Launch Manager is a dynamic highly motivated professional with the ability to work with and motivate cross-functional teams. Reporting directly to the Director of Products & Supply Division, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring product initiatives are launched into the market with a repeatable, consistent company quality and rigor. The Product Launch Manager works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Technology to ensure each launch is carefully planned and organized for success.
As Manager Product Launch your main responsibilities will include:
• Understand the market objectives of each launch, and identify critical factors for success
• Understand the launch process, marketing objectives, sales methodologies
• Participate in post launch review as part of an ongoing process improvement program
• Work closely with teams to ensure all product management initiatives meet stakeholder objectives
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans & documentation across multiple initiatives
• Manage project scope & change with the ability to understand & communicate impacts to project requirements, timelines etc.
• Produce project status reports on all projects being managed
• Interface with stakeholders effectively and professionally as needed
• Show a commitment to continual self-improvement in order to learn and stay current with the market, products, and project management best practices
• Communicate & collaborate effectively & clearly with all groups
• Identify risk factors, and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to diminish impact on launch timelines or end effects
Your knowledge:
• You enjoy working with and understanding different Industry segments

• You have spent at least some of your career in a marketing capacity or high-tech environment

The skills and abilities needed to succeed in the role as Manager Product Launch are:
• At least 5 years industry experience, preferably in Food or Machining Industry
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Very organized and effective time-management skills with ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Strong understanding of online communication and online technologies
• Experience working and communicating with customers
• Occasional travel, as required
• Excellent organization, analytical and proven problem solving skills
• Experience managing small / medium / large sized projects
• Detail-Oriented - verifies all work thoroughly to ensure accuracy
• Understands quality management, risk management and mitigation
• Positive attitude and thrives in a dynamic, team and ever changing environment
• Work both independently and in a team environment
• Pragmatic Marketing training an asset
• Ability to think strategically, consider future project plans and growth
