hela Sverige The position Manager Customer Adaptation Design leads a design team with the main task to support specific design changes requested from customers. The role is part of the Customer Adaptation Management team and reports directly to Director Customer Adaptation.
The Customer Adaptation is an important strategic area with the aim to support truck sales. We work actively and cross functionally with our counterparts both within TSS, GTP, GTT and internally within GTO.
Within the Customer Adaptation Team we share a cooperative, supportive & open atmosphere. Our Management Team drives the operation with care for our collaborators, colleagues and customers.
Responsibilities and main tasks will be
To be part of the Customer Adaptation strategy
To set and follow-up the team's KPI 's
To manage resources/capacity within the team
To secure that the team delivers according to commitments
To drive operational excellence and constantly improve your way of working
To be a bridge for communication, assuring top-down and bottom-up distribution of information
To be responsible of training and education of your personnel to meet both operation skills and future competence requirements
To test ideas and implement change management
To support the team to adapt to the future challenges when it comes to new technologies
To drive operational excellence and constantly improve your way of working
To support and drive cross-functional way of working
To work in accordance with the Code of Conduct

Requirements for the position and competence needed
To have a suitable education (preferably university degree)
Good leader with the courage and integrity needed to drive and implement changes
Be open, organized and able to create an inspiring and motivating climate
Understanding of industrial and market environment
Be business and customer oriented
Show high interest in technology development and strategic product changes
To have an open multi-cultural mindset and have ability to drive and influence others in this direction
Team oriented person with strong interest in people development,
Eager to learn quickly when facing new problems, analyzing areas for improvements and quickly adapt to changes
Fluent in English and Swedish
Good VPS knowledge
