What you'll be part of
We're right in the middle of a significant shift strategy to become an industry leader - increasing business agility and customer value by continuously improving our customer experience, end-to-end operational efficiency, and transparency. To support this, we're establishing a Transformation Management Office (TMO) - providing expertise, structures, tools, and methodology to enable this transformation. Portfolio Management & Project Excellence is one of four functions within the TMO organization that will play a key part in this work to maximize our investment portfolio's value and strategic alignment.
About your job
In this position, your primary mission is to drive change in our ways of doing strategic portfolio management within SMR to deliver true customer value. Supporting management leadership teams with the structure and data to set the right investment level and balance to realize the business outcomes required to reach their strategic goals.
Diving into details, the tasks included in your role are:
Supporting the division management team and transformation steering group bodies in optimizing and balancing the priorities of the investments in a cross-organizational holistic portfolio and roadmap.
Change management to define, build awareness and adoption of portfolio management governance and processes, including onboarding acquired companies.
Streamlining portfolio intake and prioritization process to drive value-based planning, efficient demand management, and effective prioritization.
Maintaining a portfolio that provides transparency of how investments are aligned with the strategy, outcomes, and customer pain points, as well as shows dependencies and gaps.
Driving continuous improvement of portfolio management across the SMR organization.
To ensure successful execution, an essential part of your mission is to coach and challenge the organization to follow the agreed investment governance, portfolio management, project methodologies, and working methods.
You take the functional leadership of our Portfolio Management & Project Excellence function - leading and coaching your team, including performance management and development planning. With a cross-functional and value stream-driven approach - based on stakeholder input and industry trends - you spearhead the development of the Portfolio Management & Project Excellence offerings, capabilities, and target architecture.
You report directly to the Head of Transformation Management. The position is flexible between Stockholm (Sweden), Tampere (Finland), or Dublin (Ireland), and we offer you a hybrid working schedule. International travel is included in your job.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with extensive experience in a similar role and a relevant academic degree. With a demonstrated ability to collaborate within an organization, you're good at influencing, negotiating and have highly developed stakeholder management skills. Being highly organized with good planning capabilities, you can anticipate problems and respond proactively. You're highly proficient in Office 365, and knowledge of ERP platforms is beneficial. You're used to communicate with senior stakeholders which calls for excellent English skills, both verbal and written.
