We are looking for a dedicated manager, to take the lead and will be responsible for the group working with simulations within the areas of vehicle dynamics, crash and acoustics for the bus development departments in Europe and Latin America. The simulations are done on both the system level and whole vehicle level, all the way from pre-development via industrialisation to product follow-up.
Your Role
You will lead the group responsible for vehicle dynamics, crash and acoustic simulation within bus development. The group consists of nine simulation engineers and one simulation coordinator. You are responsible for driving the strategy and implementing an efficient and sustainable new way of working. As a team, you will create prerequisites to find new capabilities and constantly challenge our ways of working.
Besides the electrification transformation journey, we are also transforming towards an agile, SAFe way of working. Your team is part of a value creation flow (VCT) responsible for bus chassis. You will together with other managers and leaders take an active part in developing this VCT, coaching the team members searching for more efficiency in the agile work environment.
As a group manager, you will also be part of the section management team where you will be leading the whole section together with the other managers.
Your Profile
You strongly believe in teamwork as the way to reach good results. You have a background in the area of vehicle dynamics simulation and a genuine interest in leadership. You are always striving to develop yourself in leading people. With a positive mindset, you easily communicate with other people and you have a strong ability to build good relationships. You see people 's differences and how to capture each and everyone's strengths in team work.
You have a technical university degree in mechanical engineering or similar and we expect you to be fluent in English.
