Now you have the chance to become part of the team at Ocado as a Maintenance Technician.

The job is a temporary position of 11 months with a great opportunity for continuation as the company grows a lot.

We are now proud to be partnering with ICA, the leading grocery retailer in Sweden. This is a very exciting time to join Ocado and be part of the first solution in the country and our wider global growth journey.

At the heart of this is our Automated Engineering, Maintenance and Robotic Repairs team who play an important part in the solution. Based on-site in Kungsängen within the Greater Stockholm region they are key in maintaining an operation that delivers our partners expectations, whilst providing pivotal feedback to internal teams that enable future development of our products.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play an important part in supporting the operation in our state of the art, automated Customer Fulfilment Centre, providing 1st response to engineering fault conditions, reactive and planned maintenance activities as well as proactive improvement works.

Roles and Responsibilities may include:

* Carrying out planned maintenance across the site in an accurate, timely and safe manner ensuring maintenance procedures are followed
* Update records of work activities, tasks carried out, parts used through stores and training given
* Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments in finding ways to improve process and increase machine reliability and performance
* Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and action repairs
* Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties of equipment and Analyse data to find solutions to improve MHE performance, providing reports where necessary
* Complete quality inspections to ensure work is completed to a safe standard and always work to and follow all Health and Safety guidance

What are we looking for from you?

Some technical Maintenance ability and understanding relating to automation hardware and software would be preferred, but training can be given

A formal mechanical or electrical/engineering related qualification would be advantageous. Demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem solving ability

Good organisation skills, able to prioritise with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to impart knowledge effectively to others

This role involves working at height using a variety of access equipment, so all technicians need to be comfortable working at heights

Flexible working shifts

This role will require your flexibility due to us being a 24/7 operation and therefore a shift pattern will be put in place that will require working a variety of days, evenings, weekends and this pattern can include some nights. This is essential so that we can work efficiently to meet the needs of our ICA partners in Sweden but should average 40 per week.
