Role Mission
SEIM is a function within Parts & Service and Quality & Customer Satisfaction (Q&CS) at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for Reduce "downtime" and increase "profitability" for the bus owner/owners. We are today represented in Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Poland and India.
We are now seeking a Maintenance Program Manager to be located at the Gothenburg site, who has the drive and passion to contribute to future solutions of our products, using both your knowledge and curiosity to find the best solutions together with your colleagues within Parts & Service and Product Development.

Main activities and responsibilities
• Overall global responsibility for the structure and strategy of VBC Maintenance program on both complete bus and chassis level
• Chair BSPCF (Bus Service Planning Coordination Forum), and together with technical and commercial functions within VBC assure that the customers get the best maintenance possible for their vehicles
• Maintenance Program strategy in accordance to maintainability feature roadmap
• Coordinate update towards Service Contracts, VOSP, PROMPT and Impact
• Initiate and order the creation of Service Planning Bulletin for each model
• Stakeholder for maintenance program in Start cost and PMR-projects
• Work closely with Service Engineers and together balance and optimize Volvo Standard Times in service operations related to the maintenance program
• Drive and lead work in creating the leanest maintenance for our vehicles, both technical and commercial
• Support Feature Leader in target setting to each segment - City, Intercity and Coach
• Represent VBC in Maintenance forums with Volvo Trucks - SPCF
• Process-owner for Maintenance Program
• Accountable for Maintenance Program budget
• Works closely towards other Volvo brands to assure that we share common strategies on how the vehicles are maintained and on way-of-working

Profile
• University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical education
• Aftermarket experience, minimun 5 years
• Holistic view and ability to work cross functionally and build strong relations
• Driven and ability to take lead
• Structured
• Extensive product knowledge, preferably Bus and/or Trucks
• Business oriented with a clear customer focus
• Drive to improve our way of working, with strong implementation skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• LEAN mind-set and approach
• Good communication skills, be able to work towards many different stakeholders and levels within the company
