ABOUT INTERSPECTRAL
Interspectral is a forward-thinking company specializing in advanced 3D visualizations and data analysis/artificial intelligence and multi-channel digital twins for Industry 4.0. We develop cutting-edge visualization software to convert complex data into actionable insights. We have been international since start and our vision and goal is to bring clarity into Industry 4.0 with Multi-channel Digital Twins. Our product AM Explorer is a visualization software package that makes it possible to fuse, explore and analyze simulation, monitoring and post build part analysis data from the metal additive manufacturing process.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Machine Learning Engineer with a focus on developing and integrating AI solutions in our software AM Explorer. Together with colleagues in our development team, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models in real world production environments to solve our customers' specific needs. Whilst the focus in the role is on practical, hands-on development of our product, we are also continuously exploring and researching how to improve our software to keep adding value to our customers.
Some of your responsibilities include:
• Develop and deploy AI models with a focus on computer vision
• Ensure models are effectively implemented in production environments
• Collaborate with our development team to optimize models and improve customer solutions
Depending on your experience, skills and interests, the role can include other tasks as well. In this role, you will be mainly working closely together with our AI-researchers, as well as our whole Development team consisting of brilliant programmers and application engineers. You report directly to our CEO Isabelle.
This is a full-time role based in our headquarters in the heart of Norrköping where we have team members working with sales, marketing and software development.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To excel and thrive in this role, you should have a university degree in a relevant engineering field and at least 3 years of experience working with AI solutions in production environments. You bring hands-on experience with multi-sensor input, multi-modal models, and the integration of AI into native applications. Proficiency in MLOps and model optimization workflows is essential, along with expertise in standard ML tools and frameworks such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar. We also assume that you have familiarity with a cloud platform. A PhD in a related field and experience in statistical modeling, data analysis, and algorithm development within established product development processes are a plus. While C++ skills are not mandatory, they are a welcome bonus.
Moreover, we believe that you are a practical, hands-on and solutions-oriented person who enjoys working in a cross-functional team. You enjoy using your experience and skills to take initiative and come with suggestions to improve the product offer and ways of working. Whilst you enjoy working in a team, you have a proven ability to work independently and take responsibility for driving projects from development to deployment in a structured way.
Since we work on a global scale, you need to be comfortable and fluent in written and spoken English. You should also have a valid work permit in Sweden to start the position as soon as possible.
