Are you looking for an international challenge?
To safeguard the success of our company, we are looking for an experienced Logistics team manager who will be responsible for customer service, warehouse management, cost savings and inventory management. You will have a team of logistics production leader, shipping department and logistics engineers. Cross-functional work with other functions is significant for success.
You will report to Supply Chain & Strategic Purchasing Manager.
Some of the mission and responsibilities:
• Visibility through whole supply chain - Effective and always up-to-date systems and tools to support the business and processes
• Standardize and enhance operation processes - lean logistics and customer driven teams
• Optimize layout to achieve efficiency and uni directional flow, Warehouse management process
• Support excellent planning and material supply process
• Ensure safety, productivity, cost and process control by implementing automation, digitalization and defined routines
• Implement and secure project management process in the supply chain
• Responsible of goods receiving & stock transfer process
• Line feeding for heavy materials stored outdoors, including transportation of drums from the drum shop to assembly lines
• Handling of dangerous goods / Chemicals
• Customer order and shipping handling process
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
• You have a university degree or similar within a relevant field (quality and commercial/business)
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing resource planning principles, automated systems, industry practices
• Ability to effectively measure, lead, and implement continuous improvement methods (e.g. pull systems, JIT)
Personal Skills and Attributes:
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English and Swedish
• Team management and motivation skills
• Analytical, problem solving, planning and decision making
• A self-starter, motivated and able to positively motivate others
• Focused, target driven with a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to manage cross-functional team members
