The Opportunity:

Avantor is currently looking for a dedicated Team Leader Shipping Support to join our team in Mölndal. Are you interested in working in an international, dynamic environment and are you passionate about Logistics? Then this might be the opportunity you are looking for!
The Team Leader Shipping Support is responsible for the day-to-day operational management at the customer site. The Team Leader will manage associates working in the laboratory services, focusing on logistic responsibilities related to internal and external shipments of biological samples, dangerous goods and temperature controlled materials. This includes coaching and motivating team members, being the first point of contact, providing operational support when required and much more! Together with the team, you will work with a wide range of contacts including customers, suppliers, and colleagues both on-site and off-site.
This role will be a full-time position, based at our customer site, AstraZeneca, in Mölndal. If you are passionate about logistics and life-science, you have strong people management skills and really want to create an impact- Let's talk!
The team
The Team Leader Shipping Support leads a team of 10 associates, focusing on Logistics tasks. Together with 3 other supervisor, you will report into the Supply Chain Manager. In this position you are part of our department called 'Services', which supports big pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.
What we're looking for
Education: bachelor's or master's degree with a logistic focus or equivalent experience
Experience:
Proven experience in Logistics (import & export), preferable in the Pharma industry or similar
Proven experience in People Management,
Computer: Strong skills in MS Office, Excel in particular
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish
Experience in Life Sciences, pharma or a similar environment is a great plus
Knowledge of Lean Sigma is a plus

Lead and manage a team of Avantor Services on-site associates. Helping them perform at their best, through motivation and developing them to achieve high performance.
Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, training, coaching and communicating job expectations. Planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions, and enforcing policies/procedures.
Delivering 'value' for the client by constantly developing the performed services through innovation.
Establishing and maintaining risk and quality, ensuring performance and compliance targets are met.
Achieves operational objectives by supporting the Team. Preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Resolving problems, determining system improvements and implementing change.
Actively partner with other outsourced FM service providers, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Ensure that all environmental, health and safety related aspects (and required trainings) are in line with both customer and Avantor expectations.
Creation, maintenance and updating relevant documentation in support of service delivery, compliance and training.
Participate in projects (minor and major) related to specific business area.
Reports on the team's performance, KPIs, relevant metrics, SLAs in line with contractual agreement.
