We are looking for an experienced and passionate business controller who thrives in a fast-paced environment and to work closely with the business where translating numbers to a story. The complexity of logistics operations is something you appreciate and to roll up your sleeves and organize big data with Excel is something you enjoy.
What you'll do
As a Logistics business controller, you will be a key player in developing internal processes with the logistics area as the main focus. You will work with global partners across the world, in a dynamic environment in terms of international expansion and development within departments. You will work closely with the logistics team in all our markets to identify opportunities and also as a sparring partner. To thrive in this role you have an extensive interest in data and analysis and you are not afraid to take initiative and to try new things. You will be a part of the finance team and report directly to Head of Group Business controlling. You will:
• Create monthly and ad hoc analyses, both standard analyses but also create new and dynamic ones that require great depth of analyses
• Support in forecasting and budget process
• Support in Board and management reports as well as support in board material preparations
• Build, create and ensure sufficient business controlling foundations and processes for logistics
• Act as the main support as analyst and sparring partner to the logistics function
• Be the superuser and stakeholder for Power BI when it comes to logistics data
• Actively challenge our existing processes and give suggestions and drive implementation of improvements
• Occasionally travel to our warehouses in our countries of business
Our humble expectations - we see that you have experience in the following areas
• 2-4+ years of experience within business controlling preferably from fast-growing companies
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Have previously worked closely with Power BI (or similar BI tool)
• Excellent Excel skills, comfortable working with large data sets
• A self-driven and "can-do" mindset with the confidence to take initiatives when seeing needs
• Motivated and eager to develop. You are not afraid to challenge and take initiative
• Special attention to detail and effective process flows, keeping the bigger picture in mind.
• Fluency in English
We would love it if you have previous experience from working in e-commerce and very strong merit if you have worked with logistics operations as a business controller. If you on top of this have worked as a superuser or main stakeholder in any BI tool, we just have to talk to you!
